Bruner’s Bakery is a home bakery run by Lexi Bruner, a native Austinite with a love of baking and her community. Bruner’s Bakery is committed to creating an inclusive environment that both builds and serves the Austin and Pflugerville communities through the art of baking.
Bruner’s Bakery is committed to:
- People – With a background in the nonprofit sector and a commitment to social justice, Lexi Bruner founded Bruner’s Bakery as a way to reach the community in a new way. Deep ties to the community drive and inspire the bakery.
- Place – Lexi is a native Austinite (just like her parents), and Bruner’s Bakery is rooted deeply in Central Texas’ rich culture and history.
- Product – Each and every bake will be made with high-quality ingredients and we will be transparent about what goes into our food. We will only sell bakes that we would be proud to eat ourselves!
- Philanthropy – Ten percent of all profits will benefit a nonprofit organization(s) serving the Austin and Central Texas community. Having the opportunity to sell baked goods is my dream, and we would like to see all members of our community have access to better opportunities. Our nonprofit partners will always be listed on our website – both for transparency and in the hopes of inspiring more people to get involved!
In the spirit of inclusion and community, Bruner’s Bakery will constantly develop new dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, and/or gluten-free versions of our recipes so that as many people as possible can enjoy our bakes.
